Deforestation assessment tool

The Pull Agency created a web app for WWF to help companies track their impact on global deforestation.

Wireframed and designed in Adobe XD. Built in plain HTML/CSS. Then implemented using vue.js and Kentico Kontent.

Process

We started the project by researching the Accountability Framework, a site for companies and others committed to eliminating deforestation, conversion of natural ecosystems. We would use its set of questions as a base for our survey.

I designed an interactive, timeline based survey. Users could navigate through the questions in sequence or use the timeline to skip to a certain part and fill in the rest later. All their progress would be saved and progress displayed in the dashboard section of the site.

Upon completion of the survey users can then access a detailed summary of everything they’ve answered, as well as donut charts giving a visual indicator of their performance. These were built in SVG and dynamically generated with Vue.js. They could also download their results in PDF format.
